A VICTORY over a ban in ball games at a local park could set a precedent across the borough.
Little green signs which say 'BMBC. No ball games. By order' have been in parks and grass areas across the borough for decades - but the ban has been lifted in Wilthorpe park after an appeal by local children who wanted to use it for a kick about.
Old Town councillor Phil Davies said: "I hope it will set a precedent."
