A SNEAKY fuel thief is targeting Barnsley streets by drilling through people's fuel tanks and stealing their petrol.
Residents on Barnsbridge Close say around six cars were targeted in one evening.
One woman was woke by the sound of a drill at around 2am on Monday (May 18), and saw a man behaving suspiciously.
The following morning she found the fuel tank on her car had been drilled and petrol drained. A number of other cars on the car park had also been targeted in the same way.
The man seen behaving suspiciously was described as slim, not very tall and wearing dark clothing with the hood up.
