SUPPORTERS have been advised to get the the reds' final game early this weekend - as it's on the same day as the Tour De Yorkshire cycle race.
Ben Mansford, chairman of Barnsley FC, said all the necessary measures are in place to make sure Oakwell is a safe environment for the game.
"From discussions with our stewarding provider and South Yorkshire Police, I am comfortable that plans are in place to best minimise any disruption.
"I would though encourage people attending the game to ensure they arrive earlier than they might normally have intended, to seek to avoid any delays."
The match will kick off early - at 12.15pm but road closures will be in pace.
