BARNSLEY College’s Zest restaurant was given an African flavour last week.

Three international students hosted a Nigerian night with a special buffet menu.

The event was organised by Ann Arunah, Bola Babajide and Femi Omisakin who have spent four months studying in the college’s catering department.

Customers were treated to a three-course Nigerian feast which included specialties such as pepper soup, smoked chicken breast, saute spinach, jollof rice, fired plantain and egusi stew.

The college’s fashion department added to the party by designing traditional Nigerian clothing for the staff and students to wear on the evening.
