HEARTLESS thieves have taken a mobility scooter from outside a woman's home in Barnsley.
Elaine Goodlad has said she feels like a "caged animal" as there is no way for her to get anywhere without it.
The 58-year-old relies totally on her scooter because of her osteoarthritis. She has also had a triple heart bypass and is diabetic.
Elaine last saw her black mobility scooter parked outside her ground floor flat on Summer Lane at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (May 27).
It could be weeks before Elaine is given a new scooter so she is hoping that it turns up.
