A WOMAN has suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
A Citreon C3 left the northbound carriageway between junction 36 and 37 of the A1 just after 3.30am and collided with the embankment.
The passenger in the car, a 27-year-old woman, suffered life-threatening injuries as a result.
The driver, a 38-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. Call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 100 of April 9.
