THE elderly woman who died following a collision in Barnsley has been named.
Ruth Elizabeth Cocker, 85, from Birdwell, was travelling in a grey Ford Mondeo when it was in collision with a wall on Sheffield Road, Hoyland Common, at 11pm on Wednesday.
She was taken to hospital where she sadly passed away.
An 82-year-old woman, a 77-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
