MORE than a hundred troops are to march through Barnsley town centre again this summer.
Two years after the 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment exercised its freedom of the borough, it's been announced that they're to return to the town in June.
A parade of 120 troops, accompanied by a military band of 30 musicians, formed up outside the Barnsley Town Hall on a sun-soaked July 18 in 2013.
Expect temporary closures on the majority of the town centre's roads for most of the morning. We'll let you know when a date has been set.
