A BARNSLEY man's 14-month-old beard's days are numbered - he's set to shave it all off in aid of charity.
Gareth Goodlad, who hasn't had a shave since New Year's Eve in 2013, is hosting The Great Barnsley Beard Off on April 19 at The Court House in a bid to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation, MIND and BSARCS.
He said: "The event's all about the loss of hair - I'm going to be going bald above the shoulders and a couple of others will also be losing their hair.
"I'm hoping to bring together aware for the three charities that hold a lot of special meaning for me and my family.
"I'm a little nervous as it's the first time I've done anything like this, but I'm going to give it my all to make a difference for those in need."
