POLICE have confirmed they're aware of concerns relating to a suspicious man in the May Day Green area of Barnsley.
It's alleged that a man approached a three-year-old child on Saturday.
An investigation is underway to determine whether any criminal offence has taken place and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are also working alongside partners to increase visibility and patrols in the area, to provide reassurance to the public.
