PLANS to build an Aldi store in Royston have been approved.
An application was submitted in December to the planning board for an Aldi store with parking, landscaping and associated works off High Street.
The plans were originally approved back in June for a store with a small housing development, but since then the plans have changed.
The housing development has been removed, creating a larger store, with a wider landscaping buffer.
The new store is estimated to create up to 50 jobs in the area.
