BARNSLEY Hospital Charity's Tiny Hearts Appeal will be given a boost by an event organised by a group of local mums.
Kiddie Kaboodle will be holding its first children and baby event at The Civic on Saturday to raise money for the appeal.
Visitors are invited along to buy or sell good quality baby and children’s items, find out about local children’s events and services, buy from local businesses specialising in children’s products and enter a raffle to win donated toys and items.
The Tiny Hearts Appeal aims to raise £1 million to support the development of a brand new special care baby unit at Barnsley Hospital.
Kerri Hull, from Kiddie Kaboodle, said: "We’re all mums ourselves and even though we were lucky enough not to have to use the unit, it’s still an appeal that’s very close to our hearts."
The event will start at 10.30am and will finish at 2.30pm. Entry is free with a suggested charitable donation.
