A DRIVER escaped unhurt after an early morning crash close to Silkstone Golf Course.
A silver Vauxhall Vectra, travelling away from Silkstone, left the A628 Barnsley Road at about 6.30am last Monday.
The incident resulted in delays for other road users, including commuters.
South Yorkshire Police said only one vehicle was involved and the motorist was not injured.
