A BARNSLEY woman was rescued from a fire at her home in Kendray in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Three fire crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations were called to a bungalow fire at Calder Crescent at around 3.15am on March 29.
A spokesman said: "The front porch of the bungalow was well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and led a woman safely out through the rear of the building."
The woman who was suffering from smoke inhalation was taken to hospital as a precaution.
An investigation is currently ongoing into the cause of the fire.
