AN 82-year-old has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Barnsley.
Police have appealed for witnesses following the collision, which took place on January 7.
At around 5.35pm, it's reported that a green Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along Garden Street, Darfield, towards the junction with Barnsley Road, when it hit the elderly man.
He sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Witnesses to the collision should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 686 of January 7.
