VOLUNTARY sports clubs in Barnsley have been invited to apply for a £250 grant by the council.
Not-for-profit clubs can take advantage of the funding scheme which is available to purchase equipment, coaching courses or volunteer development.
Coun Roy Miller, cabinet spokesperson for place, said: "This is an opportunity for clubs to get a bit of a cash boost. I'm sure that there are lots of eligible organisations that will benefit, so please fill out the application and return it as soon as possible."

The closing date for this round of funding is February 13 at 12pm.
