A WOMAN attacked her victim in a shop - because of comments on Facebook.
Barnsley Magistrates' Court was told Kerry Simpson, 38, of Wombwell, struck Claire Cox several times with her fist.
Chantel Lowery-Green, prosecuting, said Simpson claimed she was spat at.
"The victim was at work at Dunelm Mill when the attack happened," she said.
Abigail Rolling, defending, reserved the right to put Simpson's side of the story when she is sentenced on January 7.
Simpson, who admitted assault, was granted unconditional bail.
