CHRISTMAS will be even more special for one couple this year - they're getting married on the big day!
Sarah Stenson and Wayne Marsden, of Athersley South, will marry at Felkirk Church surrounded by close family.
Sarah, 34, said: "We were watching television and I said how boring Christmas Day is and that it would be nice to get married on it.
"But I didn't think we would be able to because we're both divorced."
They had originally planned to marry on Christmas Eve at Barnsley Town Hall and have their wedding blessed in church on Christmas Day.
But vicar of Royston Fr Matt Bullimore has agreed to a short marriage service.
Sarah added: "We're really looking forward to it, it's going to be lovely to get married on Christmas Day and have the family over."
The couple got engaged in August last year at the top of the London Eye.
