FIRE crews battled a serious house fire in Barnsley on Sunday night.
At just after 9.30pm, three fire crews from Tankersley, Barnsley and Cudworth fire stations were called to the blaze at a property on Chapel Road in the Pilley area of Barnsley.
An open fire in the lounge had spread and the living room was well alight.
Two men in the property were already out of the semi-detached house when firefighters arrived.
