A PENSIONER suffered burns in a fire at a farmhouse in Silkstone on Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called at 9:13am to attend a fire at the home in Silkstone.
Crews from Barnsley, Penistone, Cudworth and Elm Lane stations attended the blaze at its height, using breathing apparatus, one main jet and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson said: "A woman in her seventies suffering from minor burns and smoke inhalation was taken to hospital.
"It is believed at this time that the fire in the property started accidentally."
