DRIVERS have been warned to secure their vehicles after a series of break-ins in Cudworth.
In the last couple of days, valuables from three unlocked vehicles have been stolen.
The thefts happened in Newtown Avenue, Emsley Avenue and Orchard Place.
Detective Inspector Gary Askew said: ''Thieves operate very fast and an unlocked car makes their job so much easier.
''Always securing your car will ensure that you're not to giving thieves the opportunity to act.
"Make sure that you remove the valuables from your vehicles or at least take them from display and that you always check if the vehicle is properly locked."
PCSOs will be patrolling the area. If any cars are found unlocked, prevention advice will be offered to the owners.
