A CHRISTMAS market will be held in Barnsley town centre on Saturday.
The Arcade is set to be the hub for the town's businesses and creative talent, with artisans and musicians attending the day from 10am while 5pm.
Stalls selling locally-produced and handmade products will line the Victorian precinct, as well as shops getting involved on Hanson Street and Regent Street South.
Strawberry Secrets will be running a vintage pop-up tea room, Aroma Cafe will be offering festive-themed teas, The 8oz Burger Co will be launching their new Christmas menu and Old No 7 will host a beer festival.
Musicians will put on acoustic performances outside Debut Records as well as a host of other treats throughout the day.
Rebecca Howell, one of the event's organisers, said: "With the German market not happening in Barnsley this year, we felt the town needed an event that would bring the community together.
"Local businesses are the heartbeat of the town centre so it's important to support them."
