A CAR ended up on its roof after a collision on Monday morning.

Police were called at 9.05am following reports of a collision involving two cars on Claycliffe Road, Barugh Green.

A Renault Captur and a Peugeot 206 were involved and the latter ended up on its roof.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 21-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and the driver of the Renault, a 65-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Claycliffe Road was closed from the roundabout next to the Chestnut Tree pub to Whaley Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 185 of December 15.
