POLICE have appealed after a 15-year-old boy was hit by a car.

At around 5.05pm on October 28, the teenager was walking Spark Lane in Mapplewell, towards the centre of the village.

Near to the car park at Costcutters, there was a collision between the pedestrian and a silver or light blue vehicle.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the driver of the vehicle.

PC John Crawford, who is investigating the collision, would like witnesses or anyone with information to call 101.
