A YOUTH who burgled his neighbour and threatened to stab him with a screwdriver has had his sentence cut by a quarter.
Jordan Walker, 20, was one of a group of five who broke into 26-year-old John Morley's home in Railway View, Goldthorpe, in October last year.
Walker, also of Railway View, was jailed for four years at Sheffield Crown Court in June having been convicted of burglary.
Lord Justice McCombe, Mr Justice McDuff and Judge Anthony Morris QC, sitting at London's Criminal Appeal Court, reduced that term to three years.
Lawyers for Walker argued that he had not been given enough credit for his youth and lack of previous convictions.
