AROUND 250 wire poppy sculptures will be ‘planted’ in the Barnsley Town Hall’s gardens.
The poppies will be installed on each side of the war memorial on Saturday ahead of remembrance services on Sunday and Tuesday.
They have been made in conjunction with artists from Faceless Arts by pupils at Lacewood Primary, Keresforth Primary, High View PLC, Wombwell Park Street Primary and Birdwell Primary.
Members of the public also contributed at a drop-in day held at Experience Barnsley.
