A MULTI-MILLION pound care home in Barnsley will create more than 40 jobs and care for 64 residents, including those with dementia.
Ward Green Lodge Care Home, near Worsbrough, was sold by Ideal Care Homes to Britto Healthcare for £4.8 million in the summer.
Following a successful career in the industry, owner Dr Darryl Britto's new 64-bedroom building includes a hairdressing salon, cafe and courtyard gardens.
Dr Britto said: "The quality and finish of the care home is astounding. I'm confident Ward Green Lodge offers compassionate care in a luxurious setting."
