TWO footpaths which became hotspots for anti-social behaviour will be closed.
The two paths run between Bakewell Road and Matlock Road, Athersley South.
They run parallel, east to west, with one to the north of the church and one to the south.
The second has been a major source of anti-social behaviour, according to a report to councillors, including damage to bungalows and the church.
A social housing scheme on the site will now go ahead.
