BARNSLEY players have been baking cakes to sell at the club's charity day.

The Reds, who host the event on October 2, hope to raise as much as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Supporters are invited to sample the players' homemade cake while brushing shoulders with their favourite stars, management and club staff.

"It would be fantastic to see as many supporters there as possible," said Danny Wilson. "Macmillan do a brilliant job and I'm looking forward to a great event."

The event - which will be held from 12.30pm in the Chamber of Commerce Legends Suite - costs £2 to get in and includes cake and a hot drink.
