A MAN on a mobility scooter has been seriously injured following a crash.
The man, 58, from Barnsley, suffered serious head injuries after his scooter collided with a white Vauxhall Vivaro, an eight-seater vehicle, at the junction with Smithies Lane last Sunday.
It is believed they were travelling in the same direction when the crash occurred.
The 51-year-old Barnsley man driving the Vauxhall was not injured.
