A NEW weekend night bus is set to launch in Barnsley.
Stagecoach's N27 service, which goes from Barnsley to Grimethorpe via Brierley, will run on Saturday nights and into Sunday morning.
Launching on August 30, it will operate a flat fare of £2.50 and run hourly at 12.25am, 1.25am, 2.25am and 3.25am.
It's Barnsley's second night bus following the launch of the N66 that serves Birdwell, Hoyland and Elsecar.
John Young, acting commercial director at Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: "For passengers who enjoy visiting pub and clubs, or those on a night out in the town centre, it offers a safe and affordable way home."
