THE RSPCA has appealed for witnesses after reports of a duck being killed in Barnsley.
It's unclear how the duck was killed but an investigator attended the Mitchell and Darfield pond on Bradbury Balk Lane last week after an anonymous phone call.
An RSPCA spokesman said: "We're now appealing for anyone with information about what happened to this poor duck to contact us in confidence."
Witnesses are encouraged to phone 0300 123 8018 with any information.
