TWO masked men stormed a Birdwell petrol station and threatened staff who were replenishing the cash machine, police have revealed.
The investigation into an alleged armed robbery that happened at the Shell Petrol Station on Sheffield Road, Birdwell, at approximately 10.45am on Wednesday 29th February, is still continuing. Police have revealed that two masked men, wearing dark clothing, threatened staff replenishing the ATM and stole a large quantity of cash before making their escape in a vehicle parked on Rockley Avenue. Police are appealing for information relating to this matter.
