A BARNSLEY couple are still just as much in love now as they were 60 years ago.
James and Mavis Miller, who live in Cudworth, celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on August 14 with their family in the Yorkshire Dales.
Mavis, 80, said she met husband James, 83, at a dance hall in 1949. She said she loves James just as much now as she did back then.
"We have our little ups and downs, and I'm a little bit of a nag sometimes, but we've learnt to just get on with life and be happy," she added.
"You get used to being with one and other - he's my best friend.
"If you love one another, whatever life throws at you, you can come out the other side of it together.
"Everyone has heartbreaks and struggles in their life, it's just learning how to deal with those things together."
