TWO brothers who abused their own sister in the 1960s will not have their sentences extended.

Kenneth and David Dudley, of Snetterton Close, Cudworth, abused Irene Marshall when she was a child.

They were jailed for 12 months and four months respectively, before the public complained to the attorney general's office that the sentences passed by Sheffield Crown Court were too lenient.

Irene's husband, Howard Marshall, said he was "disgusted" that the sentence will not be referred back to the court of appeal.
