THE Reds showed their fighting spirit by coming from behind twice to come away with a point after a 2-2 draw with Coventry.
Barnsley - who registered their first win of the season with a 2-1 win against cup foes Crewe on Saturday - fell behind after just four minutes when Coventry's Josh McQuoid netted from close range.
Conor Hourihane's wonderful free-kick got the Reds back on terms just after the half-hour mark, before Jordan Clarke smashed the home side back in front a minute before half-time.
A frantic first half was ended in style when Leroy Lita's header brought the Reds level once again a minute later.
League debuts were given to strikers Kane Hemmings and Devante Cole in the second half, but neither side managed to find a winning goal.
"It's a brilliant point for us," Danny Wilson said. "We saw two very committed teams who both wanted to win."
The Reds entertain Gillingham at Oakwell on Saturday.
