MAPS with hot spot areas have been given to enforcement officers who are clamping down on litterers, illegal parkers and dog fouling.
Maria Broxup and James Lovatt - who are prowling Royston, Cudworth, Shafton, Grimethorpe, Carlton, Lundwood and Brierley - can now issue fixed penalty notices to people if they catch them in the act.
Coun Joe Hayward, chairman of the area council, said getting an enforcement team in had been a priority for some time.
"Two enforcement officers from environmental protection agency Kingdom started work last week," he added.
"They have been given maps with 'hot spot' areas that are being highlighted as a concern to us by residents."
