OUR town has been recognised once again for its excellent green spaces as a number of its sites have achieved the prestigious Green Flag Award.
Elsecar Park and Nature Reserve has been awarded its seventh flag in a row, and both Cannon Hall and Worsbrough Mill also received the award.
Coun Roy Miller, cabinet spokesman for place, said: "We have sites of outstanding beauty across the borough.
"Having three of them recognised as among the best in the country with this award is testament to the hard work of staff, volunteers, friends groups and others based on the sites who devote so much of their time into making them such a tremendous place to visit."
