CARLTON'S community gala has been postponed due to severe weather warnings.
The event - which was due to be held tomorrow (Saturday) - will now take place on August 30 in Carlton Park after the Met Office forecast extreme conditions.
Monk Bretton ward councillor Ken Richardson said: "The organisers offer their sincere apologies to anyone inconvenienced by the postponement of the gala."
