PROVEN goalscorer Sam Winnall has joined Barnsley on a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old, who bagged 23 goals last season and helped Scunthorpe United win promotion from League Two, is the second recruit this week after highly-rated midfielder James Bailey joined from Derby.
Although the Reds are yet to release a statement, Scunthorpe United confirmed the deal on their Twitter account.
In a week of considerable movement from the club in the transfer market, defenders Zat Knight and Peter Clarke have also emerged as targets for Danny Wilson.
