A WOMAN has died after a crash in Barnsley.
Police were called at around 12.20pm today (Monday) to reports of a collision in Royston Lane, Barnsley.
It is believed that a single car was involved in the collision.
A man and a woman were inside the vehicle. The woman has died from her injuries and the man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers are in the area conducting enquiries and Royston Lane is expected to remain closed for some time.
