Thursday sees a national day of action, and collections for the town's bins will be altered.

Those who usually have their grey bins emptied on a Thursday will have to keep them out on Friday, too.

Brown and blue recycling bins - and the white sacks - will be collected on either Saturday or Monday.

The next green bin collection with be on Thursday, July 24.

Commercial waste collections will take place this Saturday, and clinical waste collections will take place on Thursday, July 17.

Those who have their waste collected on Fridays will also see changes. Green bins will not be collected this week in order to prioritise Thursday's grey bin collections, so the next green bin pick-up will be on Friday, July 25.
