SIX children and three adults have been taken to hospital following a crash on the M1 earlier this morning.
A silver Renault Trafic which was carrying the group is reported to have overturned on the carriageway.
One lane has been re-opened between junctions 37 and 38 following the collision at around 4.35am.
Early indications suggest that none of the children sustained significant injuries. A 33-year-old woman, who was trapped for a short time inside the vehicle, is being treated for serious injuries at a Leeds hospital.
