TOMASZ Cywka could leave Barnsley for free this summer - after the midfielder reportedly turned down a new deal at Oakwell.
The 25-year-old's current deal expires at the end of June and the Tykes were keen to tie down the Pole to a new contract for next season's League One campaign.
Cywka, who signed from Reading, has made 52 appearances for the Reds and scored eight times during that two-year spell.
Danny Wilson said: "From a player's point of view, they will be waiting for as long as they can to get the best possible deal.
"Players want everything given to them straight away with a cherry on top wrapped up in a ribbon."
