PLANS to move the council's adult and family learning service to Wellington House have been approved - at a cost of £425,000.
Barnsley Council's ruling cabinet gave the go ahead to relocate the service to the same building as the library and Citizens' Advice Bureau last Wednesday.
At present the learning service is split between three venues - Gateway Plaza, The Core and the South Yorkshire Joint Secretariat on Regent Street.
It was based in a part of the Eldon Centre up to April but the service was forced to leave after the building was sold to a private nursery for £260,000.
