BARNSLEY are reported to have accepted a £500,000 bid from Charlton for top-scoring striker Chris O'Grady.
Last season's relegation rivals are understood to be in contract negotiations with the 28-year-old, although O'Grady's wage demands and reluctance to relocate his family are proving a stumbling block for the Addicks.
Meanwhile, youngsters Nana Boakye-Yiadom, George Marris and Brad Abbott have all signed their first professional contracts with the Reds.
They join promising talent such as Rhys Oates, James Bree, Danny Rose, Reuben Noble-Lazarus and Paul Digby for next season's League One campaign.
"We need to give youth a chance," said boss Danny Wilson. "Let's hope we have a few jewels in the crown next season."
