THREE people were injured in a four-car smash in Royston on Sunday - including a passer by.
The incident - which happened at 1.50pm in Church Hill in Royston - involved a red Volkswagen Golf collided with a silver Skoda Octavia.
The Skoda then hit a stationary black Toyota Celica.
A pedestrian, a local 40-year-old man, was then struck by the Toyota and sustained serious injuries.
The Toyota and Volkswagen then collided with another unattended parked vehicle, a white Vauxhall Vivaro van.
A 15-year-old girl from Barnsley, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, sustained slight injuries and the driver of the Skoda, a 55-year-old man, also from Barnsley suffered slight injuries too.
A 20-year-old man from Wakefield was driving the Volkswagen. He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been bailed, pending further enquiries.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the manner of driving of the Volkswagen and Skoda, or anyone who witnessed the collision, to call police on 101 quoting incident number 523 of 11 May.
