A VOLUNTEER has shaved her hair off to raise money for Barnsley Sea Cadets.
Petty officer Donna Norton, 48, has been involved with the charity for some time having started out when her daughter Samantha, 18, joined the cadets.
Donna, who offered to have her hair shaved off in September last year, has been raising money ever since and finally met the shaver on March 29 in Barnsley town centre.
Donna said: "I have seen all the great work the cadets do with young people and I just wanted to help."
So far Donna has raised just over £530 for the Sea Cadets' minibus appeal. You can still donate by clicking here.
