BARNSLEY College's sixth form students have been deciding which career path they're wanting to follow - and WAB's Nicky was on hand to talk about journalism!

The students had the opportunity to attend a series of talks from 21 people from varying industries including our very own Nicky, entrepreneur Julian Hall, teacher Louise Hood and clinical psychologist Nigel Beail.

Each person spoke about how they got into their job, what it's like day to day and the qualifications and skills it demands.

Sarah Farrar, personal progress mentor, said: "We asked our students which kinds of careers they were interested in and built the programme of talks around that.

"The sessions are a great way for students to find out more about career options from people currently working in the industries."
