A NEW system has been installed at Barnsley Hospital to gauge patients' feedback.
The hospital - which recently celebrated positive results in its maternity survey - already takes part in the NHS Friends and Family Test but it's now even easier to tell them what you think of their services.
Before, a card had to be filled in, but a more convenient token will be provided to patients with six boxes to put it in.
The boxes - in its Emergency Department - are labelled with answers ranging from ‘extremely likely’ to ‘extremely unlikely’.
If patients wish to expand on their answer and leave a comment, there is a separate box in which they can also submit a written answer.
Cath McMain, patient experience and improvement coordinator said: "Patient feedback is extremely important to us as it helps us to make sure that we provide the best patient experience we possibly can.
"We hope the convenience of the boxes being in place will encourage more patients to give their feedback on hospital services."
